Topic: Leading: Pure and Simple
We have overcomplicated the field of leadership. While we have introduced many compelling ideas and techniques to the body of leadership work in the last decade, we have done so at the expense the teaching the fundamentals. As a result, we are raising a generation of leaders who are attempting to build upon a foundation that is shaky at best.
Leading: Pure & Simple will cover how we got to where we are, simplify the missing basics of leading, and what we do to move forward to build a cadre of leaders that will move our organizations forward, have resilience in the face of difficulty, and most importantly, create an environment for every individual team member to willingly give their best.
