Description

This position works with the Human Resource Director to provide Human Resource support and strategic direction

to clinic, operational leadership, physicians and employees within assigned Medical Group region(s), namely the

Urban South and Central Rural regions. As a trusted member of the Medical Group's HR team, works

cooperatively with operational leadership to develop and provide effective leadership and accountability for

ambulatory care operations, including excellence in customer service and human resources services. This

position will maintain responsibility for Employment, Education, and Affirmative Action planning within the Medical

Group in conjunction with Central Office Departments and support.

The Intermountain Medical Group brings together over 750 clinicians employed in over 140 clinics and health

centers across the state of Utah. These also include urgent care clinics, such as InstaCares and KidsCares, that

treat minor injuries and illnesses for adults and children, ExpressCare clinics, and WorkMed clinics that offer

occupational health services. Many of our larger clinics include retail-based pharmacies. Our network of

experienced physicians, surgeons and caregivers strive to provide clinically excellent healthcare through a wide

range of services in a setting where patient needs come first. This position is vital in supporting our Medical

Group operations through effective human resources management.

This position requires regular, same day travel (avg. 3 days/week), which is mileage reimbursed, to clinic sites

within the assigned regions (no overnight stay required).

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

􀁺 Bachelor's degree. All educational degrees must be obtained from an accredited institution. Subject to

verification.

􀁺 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources field.

􀁺 Working knowledge of electronic spreadsheets and word processing software.

􀁺 Strong working knowledge and computer skills with MSOffice.

􀁺 Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.

􀁺 Demonstrated leadership, personal, and professional ethics and an ability to inspire and motivate others.

􀁺 Candidate must be a dynamic leader that is able to gain trust and respect of physicians, staff, and peers.

􀁺 This person must be able to utilize resources available to maximize efficiency.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

􀁺 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.

􀁺 Master's Degree with emphasis in the following areas: Human Resources Management, Employee

Relations, Employment, and Affirmative Action.

􀁺 Working knowledge of Oracle.

􀁺 Previous experience developing relationships with physicians.
